After having used an older Airport Extreme Base Station (flat model) for several years, I found that it was unable to keep up with the new high speed Internet I recently switched to (200 MB). So, I got this newer model, and it works like a dream. Anyone successfully used an Apple AirPort Extreme with I’ve got an AirPort Extreme, which was the best WAP on the market at the time it was new, several years ago. Apple got out of the WAP business, but this keeps on working. I was able to use it with my Comcast XFINITY service because any router would work as long as you had an XFINITY compatible cable modem.
